the one that always terrified me is the Viper Fish

when i was in environmental studies in OAC, they had a picture of this guy in the text book. i had to tape the pages together because the picture gave me nightmares







the scary thing about these guys is that even though they live in the benthic region, they have been finding ones with seagulls in their stomachs, meaning they have been coming up to the surface to snack

I have some preeeeety bad hydrophobia when it comes to lakes/oceans/deep water in general. This just made it 100x worse!
