I support the scene doesnt mean i have to like these ppl or attend their events does it?
What you have to understand is that people here have long memories, in saying that i dont see the "haters" jumping on a bangwagon of hate, as they all have valid reasons as to why they dont attend these pov events.

i agree, im sick of seeing countless ANOT & 5AM promo threads, but having not been to either i cant comment on quality of the nights.

while its good that you guys are actively out there doing stuff, maybe you should set up a website discussion board especially for this type of discussion and promotion on e.g www.5am.com.au

first of all (and i mean no disrespect... aight) the best thing (in my opinion) for a tranceaddict is to be told when future trance nights will be on, 5am and any other production company are doing us a favour, i would much rather find out all i need to know about future events from the site i come to chat on everyday rather than chasing after the info by going to each and everyone's website. secondly i know from personal experience the amount stress and hours in preparation and organising needed to put on just one of these nights... and they do it with no other purpose than to further promote the sound we claim to be addicted to..
i personally haven't met all of the 5am crew (and no anot crew that i know of) but from those that I have met they seem to be a great bunch of down to earth ppl, so pls guys cut 'em some slack, people in clubs = continuation of trance nights, the only way to get that is through promotion

The funny thing is, that in trying to fight against one another they are only giving such nights like 5am and ANOT further promotion by bringing it up all the time. As Steve said, any publicity is good publicity

by bagging 5am and ANOT what you are really doing is bagging out the DJ's and thats not fair cause the ones I know (they know who they are) are really nice people just trying to get somewhere with what they love to do.

If 5am stop promoting on these boards then these guys would prolly find themselves not doing what they love.
