Is Mulholland Drive good? I think I heard about it...but I never looked into it.

I think its a brilliant film. Really dark, and some really breathtaking scenes. Beautifully shot.

Mulhullond Drive was excellentyly directed and it utilized the two main female roles perfectly.

naomi watts and laura harring

but here are some others i truly enjoyed

Tom Hanks - Cast Away/Philadelphia <== him in the depressed mode really is his best quality. he is funny, but seriousness is his best acting quality

Giovanni Ribisi/Vin Diesel - Boiler Room <== the scene at the end when seth (ribisi) is revealing to the chris(diesel) that the feds were coming and he needed chris to sign his ticket. a lot of emotion there. cheesy, but awesome. ** i wish there was a picture out there of vin's face when he got upset. it is funny!

Giovanni Ribisi - Gone in 60 seconds/The Gift/Mod Squad/"Friends"(have to add that. he was funny)/ The virgin suicides ... his roles there were well done. he made his character better than what it should have been portrayed as. personally, sometimes i think he plays a good idiot (no offense)

and females
** i am going to name young actresses, because i see these chics to be the future of movies in the next decade.

Amanda Bynes - well i am not going to talk much about her right now, but i think she has a bright future ahead of her. she looks talented enough to represent actresses in the next decade (2010) .. comparing her to the olsens, lindsey lohan, hilary duff, raven, and mandy moore (no offense to mandy, because she's AWESOME), but after watching her a couple of times on tv, i see potential. you guys can flame me for this, but in 6 years, you would probably be laughing at me for saying this now.

Julia Stiles - well the reason we don't see much of her right now is that she is in school. we did see her in "The Bourne Supremacy" and "Mona Lisa Smile", and she did a fairly decent job with that. she played the role well opposite of Matt Damon, which i feel has a wayyyyy brighter future than Ben-iffer... but back to Julia.. she has a bright future ahead of herself also. another good representative for the next decade.. her past movies were good (could've been better) ... but i feel her breakthrough was "save the last dance".. she played opposite Sean Patrick Thomas, who tried to be black even though he was black, but wasn't black enough for me .. do you feel that sometimes black people aren't "black enough" .. there's always some mantra with the "black thing" .. i am not going into emphasis with that.

Jena Malone - her roles were all right in "Stepmom" and "Cold Mountain", but i totally believed her role in "Saved!" .. i see a bright future ahead of her also. she has that serious look in her eyes, which i think a lot of directors are looking for these days when making those big $200 million budget films, and they need some professional face.
