A while back, me and these two boys who were younger than me (one was the little bro of a girl in my year) were walking about. Just for background info, these guys were like 8 at the time, I must've been about 14, and these were the kind of guys that were addicted to smoking by that age, and they'd tried drinking and hash before their 9th birthday. Those kind of guys.
So anyway, we were walking about some street for whatever reason, I think I was just trying to get somewhere and they tagged along, and they found one of these fruit trees in someone's front yard. It was the season when they have these quite hard buds, so the kids picked loads of buds off the tree, stuffed their pockets full (and I'm talking about neds who wear these tracksuits with loads of pockets) and proceeded to throw them at every window on the street, making a big noise each time. So eventually they got to the corner and one guy appeared at a door looking angry, so of course we bolted it to the nearest park, where there were other neds hanging about. Eventually the guy came, and of course because I was the older guy I got all the blame, and the guy claimed it was stones that 'we' had thrown, not buds. He grabbed my wrist almost cutting off the circulation for about 10 minutes and told me that the police were coming, and lectured me about how an elderly lady got really scared by the noise and the throwing of 'stones'.
So the police arrived, and they kept asking for my name and address so they could escort me home and talk to my parents, of course me being blamed for throwing stones at the windows of old ladies' houses. I managed to stall them to a decent extent, then one of the guys hanging about at the park came in and started verbally abusing the officers (can't remember what he said) and attempting to hit them. So they concentrated on this guy, and told me I was off the hook. This guy... I don't really know him, I only saw him once again. I think he was a bit of a screwed up kid, in and out of care, and so on.
That was very lucky, I know it's not a huge thing and probably not worthy of a criminal record but my parents would've still flipped.
Oh and there was that other time back in Primary 5 where some girl accused me of throwing ice at her that cut her, and of course the headteacher never believed me when I said I didn't do it, which was the truth. Luckily they didn't call my parents, but I got in trouble and nobody would believe that I hadn't done it and she was just a bitch who was blaming me, just for kicks I'm guessing.
So most of the trouble I've been in wasn't even my fault.
