Max Graham for sure. He's more skilled, more interesting tunewise and doesn't have the DJ Mag result-hype and all the crap that comes with it clinging onto him like a pesky fly.

Armin is definitely NOT straight up trance. At events, he loves to drop techno, tech-trance, and some trance, but not a set entirely of trance tunes.
Still Armin's and Max's styles are nothing alike. Armin's style is more trance and Max's style is more house/prog. Obviously this isn't a big deal so I'm just stating the obvious to most people.

Regardless of the politics, I guarantee that Max will open for Armin. I know the way the Church works and even though I prefer Max, I would have him open to keep a flow throughout the evening. We'll see how it goes. I wonder how long their sets will be.
Max's set most likely will be half of what it was originally supposed to be. I just think it's strange that the venue would have decided to combine together what could have been two profitable nights. I'm sure that Armin would have made his way back to Denver soon. Most likely this was the venue's idea and not Armin's. Of course Armin wants to make up that lost night to his fans, but I just think Max should have his own night as originally planned. Either way you should definitely still go and I would show up early.

No your not alone at all, i'd be pretty pissed too if Armin was added to a lineup I was originally planning on attending.

I really wouldnt mind too much if the venue was going to be open all night, or if there were two rooms for both to play in. methinks that maxg will open for Armin, since avb is a bigger name...tho ill likely still go assuming Armin doesnt involve a very jacked up price.
btw i just talked to max and he said he might afterparty if someone has CDDJs...he MIGHT. but thats why max is the man|

What do you mean Max wouldn't spin until close anyways?
More DJ for your buck? What if you were the DJ?

yeah the bar laws in Denver are weak and DJs stop at around 140 unless Sasha gets to hammer a bit after 2. Max has played the entire night 11pm-2am here before, and I was looking forward to that again. Not hearing Burned with Desire again|

Amber - The Church has a different headliner every week. That's why they rescheduled now. Armin was already gonna be in the states and it wouldn't really matter when they did it, he would share time with another headliner.
Max wants to afterparty. That's tight. I don't have any cdj's, unfortunately. You going tonight? I should be down there around 11:30 or 12:00. I have hockey before. Hope I don't get there as Max is exiting the decks. That would piss me off.

heh i believe he was being more tongue in cheek than anything else, but he is a nice guy. As far as not getting to the Church until 1130 or 12 - that will be pushing it. If they split the night Max will likely have to go first (btw he seems to have started at about 1050 last time he was in Denver), and that is REALLY early for most DJs at the Church. Thats good news but it means he will be largely done near midnight I fear.
This night worries me...but I hope I still get to go|
