Bah! Everyone has just posted some commercial shit! If you want quality, check out all of Dario Argento's flicks, most of them were produced in the 70s, and they still are scary and quality films. Also, if you want to see some classics, check out Bela Lugosi's work.

yo guys thanks a ton, this is an awesome list. I'll be more than ready for halloween.

I've also got this crazy philosophy professor who gives you extra credit if you can recommend him any good horror movies that he hasn't seen yet. I'd say its safe to say now that I've got that class pretty much covered.

I'd also like to add one movie to the list that no one has mentioned.

"The Changeling" its like early 80s or late 70s or something, it wasn't super scary except for a few pop outs (that were pretty freaky), but its really fucked up so if thats your thing check it out.
