The ending of Terminator 2 is just so sad. Back when i was a kid, i almost felt Connors pain. It was just so wrong...

That, combined with the sad variation of the Terminator theme, made for a very moving, sad moment. And that's why it made da list.

It was a close call between Jack Dawson's death in the atlantic ocean in Titanic and T-800's death in the fire, but my choice would be T-800's death because although both characters were extremely unique and protective, T-800 just seemed more appealing to me since he was a robot from the future. I thought the movie was going to end on a happy note but I find out that after saving the boy's life at many times, he had to leave

I'm surprised no one mentioned this:

Michael Corleone's daughter's death..(lol, i dont know the character's name..but its coppola's daughter)

Her dying wasnt that sad. However, seeing the Don's expression when she died in her father's arms when it should have been HIM who should have died. That god awful long scream Michael made(background music was an opera theme). The Don totally lost it. Al Pacino did well in that scene, i have to admit.

GF III wasnt really a classic. But it was a perfect ending.

Anyways.. in this poll i chose Braveheart's death. It was a sick and sad way to die for a hero.DAMN THE ENGLISH!
