The past means nothing RIGHT NOW. THIS YEAR, the Sox beat the Yankees. Now they just have to go on and beat the Cards or 'Stros. Ask the players what means more, their past 26 championships or the fact that they lost a 7 game series in which they were up 3 games to 0 in 2004. I think we all know what they'll say. OK. I was gonna keep quiet but not anymore. I'm a huge Yankee fan. As much as it hurts that they lost, i will never go as far as saying they suck. Fact is they chocked bigtime. They didn't play with their hearts or their brains. They are not managed well(I don't think Torre belongs here---he sucks)
Boston outplayed us and wanted it more. Simple as that. But for all you people who are hating on the Yanks, it's not necessary. Since when does having the highest payroll mean that a team is best???? To me it means that the upper management just over-payed a bunch of ball players that chocked when it counted and diddn't earn their paychecks. Hate if you will, but it means nothing. It's just people running their mouths off to vent. Yankees don't suck, they just choked. They lost. simple.

Def not taking away from Boston. Hell of a job. they deserve everything they acheived. My personal opinion. St. Louis is gonna win it all. They should have no problem beating Boston. They would have DESTROYED the Yankees, not just beat us.
