I'm voting for Kerry because I was against the war in Iraq and against the US sticking its nose and ass into every other country it sees as "wrong." Because I am afraid of what would happen in terms of abortion and stem-cell issues if Bush appoints any Republican Supreme Court judges. Because Bush's proposed amendment to "protect marriage" is a crock of shit reminiscent of separate water fountains for blacks and whites. Because the Democrats are, for me, the people's party, the party of democracy and the people's voice.
However, Kerry is not my ideal. And I wish Howard Dean were still in the running...

his "cleaning" up of new york had far more to do with a nationwide uptick in the economy and a lowering of unemployment that it did with the genius of rudy...
i could go on about his disregard for civil liberties, his shitting on communities that disagreed with him, the police scandals, the ethics investigations that racked all his top deputies, his shortchanging of unions, the transformation of new york city from a place of vibrancy and excitement into a generic anytown usa, etc. but this is a thread about a kerry/bush
