I never really gotten that badly injured, bruises, scrapes, a few bumps on the head and getting the wind knocked out of me. Two of my friends have broken arms on the mountains before, lucky they were still inbounds and they had a team come up and carry them down on sleds.
Dodge the trees is fun, cept we always have really wide wells around the trees here, so its more dodge the hole of death than anything else.
I have tried helmets, but my head gets way to hot in them, and I also dehydrate easily, so thats not good, I dont do alot of tricks either so I figure Im at a slightly less risk of head injury. I got a camelback or whatever those things are called a year or two back that I havnt tried, Im waiting to see if it helps me when Im up their, anyone else ever use them? |
definately use the camelbak. i think if your not doing big mountain with some treking then a really light weight camelbak is okay. i believe they have a model called snow dawg thats for winter sports, but i heard it's a little too bulky for snowboarding. what model you got anyway?
oh and i severly get dehydrated. infact i'm dying of dehydration after one run.
