I love Swamper!!!! SEriously, he reminds me of this friend that I used to party with and that guy was really cool and a good dancer and that's what Swamper reminds me of.

Sorry to sound like a freak.

Ok, I'm just sitting here listening to some tunes that PvD played last night and I'm about to go ape shit in my room listening to 4 Strings - Into The Night thinking about when he played it lastnight! Lastnight was unfu*king believeable, just thought I'd re-state that! IMO, that beat out Tiesto & Ferry hands down!

Talking what a night!

The best fun I had in a while!

I loved everything the set, the people and the atmosphere. It was a wiked pary. PVD did not exactly destroy the club. But this time around his set was much better than the one he did in Feb of this year.
PVD made me dance so hard, I wished he would stop! LOL!
I mean physically I was drained as well as emotionally, but I loved it.
He droped some really good tracks. The only complaint was that he would start a track and than would mix out to another track like only after 2-3 min. And I swear to God I heard him play Ramstein - Ich Will (PVD remix) and he would mix out of it like 3 times in his set.

I totally agree with Ruff Ryda, the best tune of the night was Marco V - Simulated, also Space Brothers - Everywhere I Go (No Vocal Mix)

As for PVD not being emotional from what I noticed is that he is not very emotional where ever he plays. As for the incident at mayday, i heard someone drugged drink of Westbam and PVD, and that's why you can hear them train wreck their sets like 2 -3 times.

All in all it was really nice seeing Tranner, RuffRyda, Evmac, Swamper, BoyTrance at the party. That also made my night. I was also pleased that PVD closed the night himself, and I love how he played for encore.

I am pretty sure he also played
Paul Van Dyk - Autumn
in his set.

Yup I'm still high!! I haven't really slept and when we got home, i went to work and class and everything. Then napped in the afternoon but now I'm dead. I want like all the tracks that PvD played. Man, I was so excited the whole night.

And by the way, I went to the front for a bit and Paul did smile a few times. He even let peeps like climb on the stage and take pictures. i would be pretty pissed after the whole We are Alive thing (when the idiot knocked the table, WHAT A LOSER). I bet that he got jumped after the show.

uhm...pvd drinks silly, just doesn't get sloppy drunk.

and how many times have you seen him? the two times I have seen him he gets into it...pretends to be playing the piano, smiles all around, doing a little "club step" as I like to call it, he doesn't just stand there.

How long did he play and what mood did he appear to be in? Also what was the setting, clubby or ravey or what...

check my review of ATL's event for the reason why i'm asking this

Holy Sh*t........Paul Van Dyk is GOD!!!

This might be in the wrong discussion area...........but PVD is good everywhere. I guess he put 2 amazing sets 2 nights in a row

Last night......I just heard the most amazing liveset ever in my life.............When PVD spun, "For an Angel".........everyone is hype up even with the lights came on. I was feeling like was in a "trance" mode with music...........I enjoy every track of the set

I also notice that he does mix the same track 2-3 times in his set and I thought that was cool.

I spend half the night dancing and the other half chillin'.......(I usually just chill the whole night)......the music makes you get up and move with it

Anyone out there that have a chance to see him..........go and you will have the best time of your life

Paul Van Dyk will be my favorite DJ from now on!!

Okay here's my review of PVD. I thought it was a pretty good set, but not spectacular, I wish he woulda played somemore melodic/uplifting tunes but it was too hard for my liking. I shoulda gone sober to Tiesto and dosed at PVD dammit! Mixing wise the man's incredible, and he DID throw down a couple of amazing tunes. Best part of the night was For An Angel as a double encore, that was so unexpected! And the vibe of the place was kinda weird overall, except at the very end. Overall I think Tiesto was SOOOOO much better than PVD, and even the 40mins I caught of Ferry I was more into it than at PVD! I fuckin danced a storm though, my back is STILL killing me! lol. Shoutouts to KevinExcite, Malice, Trancearmada, Ruff Ryda (I'm pretty sure I met you right?) and Evmac. Glad everyone had a good time though, but the best party is yet to come... Armin. See you all there!

Smoking ..umm..something

I agree that PVD's set was very different, but that's exactly why I liked it! I was kind of getting bored with a lot of trance lately! Maybe i am just writing this cause I am on crack, I will probably regret this tomorow! LOL! j/k
