my hard drives are doing fine right now. my old western digital is loving how my new maxtor is helping him with with some data backup, and how the maxtor runs at 7200, while my western digital runs at 5400. my western digital tells me that now since the maxtor is taking the grunt of the data work and virtual memory load. now the western digital is doing nothing but playing music, or running my apps.

I have two hard drives for my PC. One of them has about 10 GB and the other has about 60 GB (of EDM).

i have 4 WD hard drives.

40 gig
80 gig
100 gig
120 gig

100 gigs of mostly EDM on the 120 gig HD. The rest are kinda empty since i've backed up most of my stuff on dvd-r's. (movies/vids/apps combine a total of 250 4.7GB DVD-R's). So you see - my shit couldnt even fit on my hard drives. at some point of time i had at least 40 more gigs of EDM, but spent a few days and carefully weeded out the crap, and that was a lot of it!

i dont need any more hard drives.

oh, they're all @ 100% i did disk check utility for western digital hard drives. and the 40 gig one is about 5 years old!!!

you know what i was thinking?
if i was on broadband, instead of stinkin dial-up, i would have plenty of storage issues...
if you know what i mean.

currently, i have a 40 GB western digital
and a 80G maxtor. i left 20GB unpartitioned on my maxtor whenever i get the chance to get linux.

It's big and hard.

Actually 34 gigs of mp3s, not including other formats like ogg, flac, etc. It's mostly EDM(maybe %75-90). Thats on my 80 gig laptop drive so... I'm running low with 11 gigs free.
