if the information being put out is false, a 'la the documents about the Bush family paying off the military not to send George W. to vietnam, then it must be removed or apoligized for just like 60 minutes did. furthermore kerry was picking on cheney by saying that a man with a lesbian for a daughter cannot help run the country. i can, myself say i will make everyone rich, everyone will have health care, etc, so far bush is doin a great job especially economy wise, fact: before bill clinton foreign investmens measued (in today's terms): 180 billions dollars, under clinton 120 billion dollars, after 9/11 30 billion dollars, after george w. bush's economic plans for recovery 100 billion dollars. a liberal candidate can NEVER do anything right. Also, what you said make absolutely no sense because even if God fobid John Kerry will become the next President he will not be able to accomplish anything due to the fact that the congress and i believe the senate as well are by majority Republican, the only thing that Kerry can do is get in the way of any plans they might want to put into effect.

I'm quoting myself from page 2 of this thread to show I already acknowledged that. He will be able to get some legislation through, as bargaining will go on between the president and cnogress. The economy for most people isn't good though under Bush. He hasn't increased the minimum wage once, which means each year people who earn the least can't keep up with cost of living increases. Education,healthcare and child care costs have gone up more than 10% a year. Bush is doing nothing about that and he has the senate and congress to pass legislaton on these things if he wants.

If liberals can't do anything right, why did Clinton raise the minimum wage and create the EITC, which help lift people out of poverty? Not to mention that civil rights legislation occured because of liberals.
