Dance isn't dead, but perhaps trance is. I notice your account entirely deals with trance, but this year there's been plenty of interesting non-trance... some great house tunes, and a lot of good albums, from Prodigy, Fatboy Slim, Faithless, Beastie Boys...

at 25 I'm probably older than most on here, I've been using the internet for about6 years and in all that time theres always been a debate about the death of dance music. Dance music will never die as long as we are all here no more than rock will die. ITs popularity has posible peaked in the late 90s but its always goes back underground and develops.

Maybe I live in a bad location, my only real connection to this genre of music is through the internet and compilation CDs. I'm just wondering what went wrong? I don't want to hear "the Music style has changed"...because honestly it hasnt really, It's all going backwards it seems. Just venting my thoughts, I hope I made some sense.
