Always get drunk on planes and in the lounges before hand!

BA have self service bars which is pretty decent, sadly on United you have to buy the drinks....even when paying £2000 for a ticket

On my trip to San Francisco last month I was in business class and had self service bar at Heathrow, must have had four glasses started from 10am! Then on the plane several Kir Royales which were topped up without asking White wine with the meal and, then some brandy and then a bottle of water before sleep. Then wake up and carry on. You gotta make the most of your £4000

When it is stretched across so many hours it doesn't make much difference to me and as long as you have a glass of water for roughly every two glasses of champagne you do fine!

Now Concorde was the most fun! Arrived in the lounge at 9am and had waitors pouring all over me fetching $300/bottle champagne! I staggered onto the plane 90mins later and carried on once onboard for another 3hrs all the way to New York Concorde is not a big aircraft and the bathrooms are even smaller than your average airplane toilet; think peeing in a wardrobe while all your clothes are hanging up in it. I arrived at my hotel in New York at 9.30am with a hangover!

Yeah, these days ain't like they used to be. I remember back in the day I flew on an airliner and we had the smoking and joking section in the back of the plane. Like a big damn party and everyone got shitfaced. I was so f*cked up, I walked off of the plane with my jacket upside down! The old lady was pissed. Well, she's the ex-old lady now so who gives a damn! Those were the days before the rules changed and we have to act like a buncha parishioners sitting in pews for a sermon on each flight these days.
