M.I.K.E really hadd his years with productions and remixes in the year around 2002-2003 with truly unique and awesome milestones of tracks like...

Matanka - Lost In A Dream (Push Remix)
Solar Factor - Urban Shakedown
Plastic Boy - Silverbath
Push vs Globe - Tranceformation
The Gift - Love Angel
+++++++++++++++

but around the release of his album, I think both the album, and the singles and remixes after this time.. has really decreased.. some of the reasons of this I think is that he started to rejecting remixing other artist [quoting M.I.K.E] "I have rejected alot of remix requests, I want to make my own productions, rather than sending other people to the top"

I really enjoyed his remixes. they were excellent..

he is my favorite producer still.. and he WILL come back with more awesome stuff as always.. he just needs to get to himself again.. I mean "Intruder" and "Pound" were some of the most dissapointing tracks I have ever heard.. although I really enjoyed "Intruder" on the first listens..

and btw:

whatever happend to the track "Dame Blanche"" together with J00F?

^im wondering too! AWSOME tune!!

MIKE is and always will be one of my fav producers ever! granted most the stuff that was REALLY original, AND popular, was a few years ago now, but even in the last couple of years he's had a succession of AWSOME tunes that any producer would b glad to produce even one of in a lifetime!

active sight - search for freedom / tears of joy
ayu hamasaki - boys and girls (push rmx)
push - journey of life
plastic boy - live another life
MIKE & joof - ice cream
albert vorne - a leaden way (push rmx)< SERIOUSLY underrated tune

ive missed tonnes others there too i know....

he is in general a very original and unique producer imo. yes some stuff is a little formulaic and some you dont feel is gona change the world. but FFS its a job as well as somethin he loves doin. if i cud make money in a way that came relatively easy to me, i would, i'd b an idiot not too

as for the DJing, heard many mixes but unfortunately only seen him live once! It was truly breath-taking! ive heard hundreds of DJs do there thing and he stood out a mile as somethin fresh that i hadnt heard b4! dark, twisted, atmospheric, breathtaking breakdowns at the peak too! gr8 mixing too and of course the crowd goes mental every time he looks up at them

a lot of people seem to enjoy talking shit here. if some1 becomes a bit too popular suddenly its uncool to b in2 them, and they have to bash them and make snide cynical comments. ur rite he doesnt care sometimes but why the fuck should he? he doesnt owe u anything if he wants to pour his heart out to u on a track, he will. if he doesnt then he wont. if it gets signed and sellls anyway, then good for him. i dont see why any1 should look down on him for it

he's a LEGEND. even if he never produced a track after 1999, and never DJ'd in his life, this would still be the case.

(ok for the sake of being PC i wll say "IMO", but really id say its fact and ur a bell-end to disagree )

totally agree with those 2 statements
its become e-cool to bash more "commercial/popular" (if u like) artists now

and i will always respect m.i.k.e as if it wasnt for him i wouldnt be here right now, listening to trance that is

i think this has been a pretty poor year for mike's standarts (in terms of his productions). i've liked calling the freak - ecology, liquid overdose - ancient space, and also a bit intruder and the fascinated electro mix but compared to what he has done in previous years i've been quite disapointed. but then again i've been starting to move out a bit from the bonzai sound

as for his sets, i'd say 50% is your usual epic trance bullshit, 50% is nice prog/tech/electro trance, often very unknown
