FUCK THAT

I tried to go with this girl who was in a wheelchair like 2 years ago.

I really liked her but turns out she was psycho. If she hadn't been pulling off some crazy shit like wanting to marry me after 2 days I would have gone long term with her.

She would tell me my friend told her things then I'd ask him and he'd say no f-ing way and whatever she loved to start a bunch of drama it was crazy.



but back to the original question, yes, I would go with someone with a handicap.

I don't think one should limit their options in finding the special one

i forgot to mention that if you do go out with someone that was "specially challanged", you always have to remember the issue that your significant other is a very fragile person, and anything you do to upset her will bring significant damage to the relationship. take it easy and slow, and try not to display their disability to the wide open spaces. treat your date like a regular person.

I absolutely agree. I would never go out with somebody out of sympathy, nor would I stay with somebody because of it.

'Disabled' people are just as much people as everyone else... which means many of them suck as well.

i think the girl i dated and i took things way too fast, i am the love of her life, she was all about trying to marry me and wanted to have kids. what sucked is im still new to my injury 2yrs is still new. im trying to get back on my feet. and a relationship isnt gonna help me even though i loved being with her, she was all about drama too and im the disabled one

what type of disability do u have? and what was it caused by? i have 2 friends who both got into car racing accidents. one is paralyzed and the other was in a comma for a year and a half and came out with brain damage (tho mentally he's still the same person, but he had to relearn to do everything. havent seen him in a while and this post actually is gonna make me call him right now)

im a quadreplegic i dove into a pool off the roof of a barn. been in a chair for 2.5 yrs im planning on getting out of it soon im progressing daily

im trying to get her out of my life kinda but its hard we love eachother so much, and i try not to call her but she always ends up calling me i dont answer 95% of the time. its tough though

if u like this girl feed off of her. u can still have the girl and walk at the end. the key to relationships is helping eachother.

we both like eachother but its complicated, she doesnt trust me and i kinda trust her, weve done stuff to eachother that has hurt us both, we dont know where to go from here. she says she doesnt want a relationship so she doesnt have someone on her back telling her what to do BUT shes the one who came back into my life she left her boyfriend of 4 yrs to be with me, she left texas to come back to ohio. shes very jealous she never believes me, she hates when i go out with my friends and shit because she thinks im cheating on her. she still tells me she loves me and misses me. we havent seen eachother for bout a month but talk whenever i feel like it, she wants me in her life but if im not actually with her its hard to just be friends, we both know if we talk we'll fight

Well it sounds like you had something good going for you - I mean, in the respect that you both really do like one another. If you can see past her faults, and she can see past yours, one of you needs to initiate things by letting go of your pride and just talking about things - when results are established, there's really no reason to look back and remember who relinquished their pride first, so what's really stopping you from being with the one you love?

Hold on to good things in this world. Move past the bad.
