Paranoia
- an extreme and unreasonable feeling that other people do not like you or are going to harm or criticize you.
- Someone who has paranoia has unreasonable false beliefs as a part of another mental illness, for example schizophrenia.
This word fits his behaviour better. His completely false beliefs toward Islamism is not just "being stubborn". Someone who doesn't want to wear coats (claiming they're not comfortable) despite of the cold is stubborn. Shadowolf's completely deluded by his fear, regardless of what others show him (check paranoia's definition #2). So far, he's never replied to any counter-information I provided, for example, and he doesn't seem to pay attention to others either. In fact, Shadowolf seems to be pretty insistent about two particular things:
- The I'm-a-pitiful-loser-who-can't-pull-girls-and-I-need-to-blame-someone-other-than-me Ladder (or whatever that "relationship theory" is called)
- Islam is going to conquer Europe... and the world, possibly.
Personally, I'm inclined to believe he fancies a girl who fell deeply in love with a Muslim. Now he believes that Islamism is evil and that he was a victim of a theory that could explain he just wasn't supposed to be with her because of a situation he cannot change, hiding behind the "nice friendly guy" excuse. Oh, and we must get rid of Muslims as well, then he would be the "bad guy" who fought them and would get the girl back or something.
