So, exactly what is the problem with playing riped/illegal/etc. trax? Around here I know dozens of DJs and they all do it, lol. I guess it's a good thing to live in America, or actually a real city. Furthermore, do you know how many tracks are available online, for free OR for a fee that have a diminished sound quality? Guess not.

i don't use progs and it wasn't a recon. I use Denon 2600fs dual cd players. now if someone still wants to bitch it's illegal for me to mix mp3s/digital downloads/cd-rs with the digital tts i purchased for a shit load of money you can all go fuck yourselves.

It's morally wrong and people that claim to be DJ's should never do it. DJ's are the heart of dance music and when they begin to believe its ok to rip off producers and labels you begin to destroy something which too so much time and effort to build.

Don't ever come onto a forum or a club and pretend your a DJ wanting to share a mix you did with illegal MP3's. This is a disgrace for DJ's and the artists that made the music.

Yes, it's a genre that is based on sharing the music to the world, a'la DJs spinning shit other then their own. Spinning someone's music, which in turn promotes the producer, can't be "moraly" wrong. On a different note, Morally? I don't see Church groups protesting "illegal" mp3's

The people that are DJ's buy the records; unless you’re big dick and artists send you shit for free. A DJ promotes the music and hopefully people will want to buy that record or more of that artists work. Notice the act of purchase NOT download. Producers and labels need to make money to live. This is not a fuckin charity campaign to feed 15 yr. old pimply face kids.

Obviously you don't understand what it means to be a DJ nor the struggles of dance music. When you become a DJ you in essence become apart of the music. It now becomes your responsibility to help shape and build it. Promoting illegal MP3's is not the action that real DJ's would favor. IT destroys the longevity of the artists, the labels, and eventually the DJ.

The morality is supporting and helping to build the artist and the music which you, as the DJ, are using. Ripping people off and using them for your own gain is immoral.

Dance music is something very special. The people, that artists, etc that make good music you enjoy should be rewarded for the effort they did. This is their occupation and as such it should be no surprise that they need to make $$ to live. If you are a DJ you should respect and embrace the people the music you use to advance your own career.

I have lost respect not only in you but also AlphaStarred for not understanding this vital principle which the music community shares.
