I like all forms of music so why not EDM but I haven't chosen it over any other genre, its not possible for me to pick a specific type of music I like the most and then not listen to everything else. I'd go crazy.

i dont know really. looking back over the years it's the last music i would have chosen - when i first started listening to EDM I was a massive oasis/blur fan. then i listened to some essential mixes that my mate had on tape and it kind of went from there...stagnated after 2001 and i came back into it massively in 2003 when i started going clubbing properly
what i love about it now is the fact it has a completely different atmosphere to any other events. and mixing allows you to be creative, no matter how shit you are

Hell yeah. In about the last two years I've been listening to trance/prog almost exclusively, but the Crystal Method's what got me originally hooked on dance music. I'll still listen to Keep Hope Alive occasionally, but I'm seriously surprised the laser in my CD player hasn't worn a groove into my Vegas CD, lol.
