Ali Daei used to play in Bayren too and he was succeed there. He's also the best scored player as international games, 104 goals. Mehdi Mahdavikia is also a succeed player in Hamburg now. One the best right wings and assistant of Bundis Liga.

The only Middle Eastern players that have left on impression on me in European football are Mido and Mahdavikia. Ali Daei was a Bayern regular for a season I believe but I don't recall any fireworks from him. I have seen Ali Karimi and he looks like the real deal if he finds the right club. Hope to see more of him.
