Do you really need a fix before Thanksgiving, or can you be strong and wait until the weekend?

no but seriously, i just went to visit my sister and new nephew this weekend and spent a lot of money so i'm broke i wanted to buy a nice bottle of champagne and all the groceries for Thanksgiving dinner...it's just gonna be me and my bf. Oh well. i guess he'll have to buy everything and i'll just pay him back. i hate that.

I think your boyfriend can probably handle paying for Thanksgiving dinner without you having to pay him back. It really isn't that expensive. Just pay him without money, wink wink!

I do have direct deposit. My firm is signed up with a group called Oasis, so that they can have all the same benefits that a larger company would have, so it's all through them. Anyway, our checks usually go in on Thursday at midnight, technically Friday morning (our pay day), but now that it’s a holiday, it won’t clear until Friday at midnight...at least with MY bank. A coworker said that she had her money in her account as normal on Friday morning, last time our pay day was on a holiday (veterans day). I guess it’s just my bank. But I still think they should have made it so that we have our money on Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

well we have an agreement. i'm living with him now and he isn't making me pay rent or anything. i just pay little bills like cable and electric. i told him i would always pay for groceries too.
