maybe this has been said before
but
neither actually makes sense because "forever" is future tense and "seen" is past tense

BUT
in our wonderful slang it would mostly be "I havn't seen you in forever" much like "I havn't seen you in ages" or "I havn't seen you in a long time"

oh and "I havn't seen you forever" - would be like I havn't seen you in for a long time

long time and ever are sorta similar - so that could also be used

so youre both right.... er or wrong.... or umm hmm I dont know

I think the "in" is to prepare you for the amount of time. I think it should be followed by "like", though. Or the "in" could be relpaced with "since"
