Re: Fabric 20 Mixed By John Digweed
a sample of this would be awesome
would be even better if it was a double vinyl with these tracks:
01. Pete Moss - Strive To Live (16B Mix)
02. Adam Johnson - Traber
04. DJ Rasoul - True Science
06. Billy Dalessandro - In The Dark
11. Infusion - Better World (Josh Wink Mix)
12. Superpitcher - Happiness (Michael Mayer Mix)
13. Joel Mull - Emico
14. Matrix & Danny J - Vertigo (Goldtrix Mix)

its good, but i wouldn't buy it...extream over-ratage going on here (esp for the instant classic people), if it did not have digweeds name on it no one would have noticed it...

disagree completely.. of course by having digweed's name on it people are automatically interested, but still i think this is quite quality, there's just too many tracks i really like in there. and after hearing a few times the "flow problems" seem to vanish.. maybe i just got used to it

This wasn't the greatest Fabric mix of all time, but it's certainly a cut above half the shit released these days. Like some others have said, the flow doesn't seem quite right after the first half dozen or so tracks (kinda like he had to throw some minimal-techy / electroish tracks in there to keep the regular Fabric crowd happy) but yeah, still a quality mix with some quality tunes.

I doubt it. I don't think Fabric have ever released a vinyl sampler after any of their other compilations, so I'm not sure why they'd do it for this one. There's some pretty big tracks on there though, so they shouldn't be too hard to track down on vinyl individually anyway.

Oh yes.
As Radagast pointed out, it doesn't really flow. The mixing is good, I mean come on, this is Digweed after all... but it's too obvious. Oh well, a bunch of very nice tracks on it. #04 has to be my favorite, love the weird circus-y feel to it, and the sax.

this CD is so tight... doesn't have any flow which is REALLY unlike diggers, but some of the tracks are
