yes there is, the need would be so that it operates like a DD turntable, and not a belt-driven table. If you are used to touching a DD table, when you try to touch the Denon's, it is all messed up as the belt requires a different type of touch than the DD tables do.

Dont believe everything you read over on the Denon forums, the people over there think that Denon is the be-all, end-all to the dj world. At least, over here, there are varied opinions on some of this stuff.

I am not knocking the drive as it is a good cd player, the spinning platter is more of a gimmick though.

+1 on the headphones, good choice, be sure to add a drop of oil to the swivel so it rotates smoother

The reason you see most of the places selling the stuff for the same price is the MAP (minimum advirtised price) that is set by the manufacture.

they dont deal vestax

Yea, that's a downside of djmart. They also don't have the stanton phones you want, but they do have the 3000's. Although I'm not sure how much better they are then the 2000's. I do know they have the CDJ-800's though, and I'd defo e-mail DJ Tranz about a discount on those. He hooked me up quite well with my DN-X1500.

The Vestax PCV 275 is really nice, I've had it for a while and I'm happy with it. Didn't they stop making it though?

The pssl.com site is giving me headaches. How can they forget a password I just give them? Stupid amnesiac machines.. Plus they change all letters to capital ones which probably won't work for sending back emails.

I think I'll have to buy the pcv275 from pssl and the cd player and headphones from wwbw.

Yes im ready for that, but at the same time this computer i got 2 years ago has never dominated my grades more than anything,so well see. But id rather do something that ive always loved doing but only had the chance on a pc. My first goal,is to bring up my grades then ill virtually, get anything.

And yes about those headphones, ive used them once on my friends decks with his xone 464(woops),love em

Wow i jsut went to djmart.com,that place is so much more cheaper than pssl.com . Anyways! I tried the package i always wanted, theres 2 cdj-800's the xone:32 and the same headphones but dropping the stanton turntable,ya think its worth it for like 68$ more? And then theres the DJM-500 for 699 after rebate. Xone:32 or DJM-500?

From this:

Pioneer CDJ-800 2x
Vestax 275 mixer 1x
Stanton turntable 1x
the djpro2000 stanton headphones

to this:

Pioneer CDJ-800 2x
Allen & Heath Xone:32
Stanton Headphones DJ-PRO-200

Plus i dont think id need a turntable yet,id rather learn on two than 3 for now. What yall think? Do i get cables to hook this up when i order it???Like cd player to mixer?
