Hey James, great mix.
In the past I was skeptical about your mixes because like other people said, they simply lacked variety. Dedication to a genre is nice, but these days, as you can see on these boards, too many generic tracklists and mixes are rampant, and dilutes the number of quality mixes on the board, and hence it's hard to pick and find good mixes due to the overwhelming number of hours required to listen to each and every mix.
The mixing on this set was very fluid...but alas, this is something I expect from every mix I hear, nothing less.
Track selection was awesome....albeit all songs had that melodic dreamy feel, you kept the atmosphere constant throughout the mix, which focuses the listener's attention on the actual transitions and tracks. Seems like people are mostly focused about the actual tracklisting rather than listening to the tracklisting itself, but this is no exception. Very nice track selection..try something different though, like a techy edge or chugging prog sound. Or slow down the mix with some breaks(or turn it up!). Either way, just some suggestions to an already great mix.
