to be completely honest mate, i have seen armin live about 5 or 6 times... massively dissapointing each time. but if people that are just getting into trance like over the last year wanna call him theyre favourite DJ cos hes a brand name [as with tiesto] then thats fine.
i guess i just dont like seeing how once great DJs that rocked great underground crowds, now charge the world for a 2 hour set to a room full of people that heard his name on TV or radio, but thats just me. |
See that I can understand and respect fully, and i might have overreacted in my last post, and for that i apologize... I have just read to many flames in here and sometiems i get fed up by the punk attitude, when it seems to be all about whether or not people are mainstream sellouts or underground visionaries.
and btw... Armin is not my favorite dj (i never really liked him, not even when he was underground - i too have seen him live, and he blows), and I am not a complete n00b when it comes to trance either, having been into EDM since I heard Prodigy first time in 92, and I browsed this forum for two years before I became a member and started posting in here
I don't mind opinions that differ from mine, I just wish people would take the time to write like you just did about why they dislike something instead of throwing oneliner flames
