yeah, that's complete true, tracks released under my name 'timeok' are always done together with andy prinz. but i don't say i've produced them on my own. so i stay to the work with andy and also have featured him as 'my producer' on my homepage. if we do a track, i take a week off from work and sit in the studio every time we work on the track. and so i can also take part in changing things i don't like or want to have done in another way than andy.
at the moment i'm doing my first steps in cubase on my own and if i have a good thing, i'll move to andy's studio and then have the idea finished in a new track that's my way of producing...
btw. the things mentioned on the labels... this depends all on the money. i mean, you sure can go to a big name producer and then buy 'your' track. and if you pay enough, it sure is written on the record: 'written and produced by YOU'!
but there are also a lot of great producers and dj's around who do all on their own. best example: l-vee aka airwave.
