It's going to be such a massive learning curve. It would be enough to learn just basic mixing on 2 decks with a 2 channel mixer. Now you've got a massive mixer with efx, a bloody dedicated efx unit, final scratch etc. You're gonna hit the wall hard. It takes skill to beatmatch, it takes skill to work the mixer, it takes even more skill to work the efx properly, then trow in final scratch... You've just bought the worlds most expensive trainwreck machine.
I have to agree with you.
Nice though it must be to have a setup like that, I can't help but feel that it would have been sensible to build it piece by piece as you learn to handle each part.
I also feel that the effects unit wont reach it's full potential without a CDJ.

I also found it really funny that you'd buy storage for 1100 records when you don't own one yet. Why not start out with storage for 100, and then get the storage for the next 1000 after you decide you like it.
