i did it... but i quit after dorothy landed in munchkin land... i dunno.. it seemed lame. the transitions weren't as cohesive and dramatic as i expected... i mean, the link between the music and pictures aren't as obvious as i thought... you really have to know what you're looking for.

i was completely sober.. maybe that's the problem.

Some people claim that they made the first commercial EDM/trance track too...I don't really agree with that though.

Awesome dude...Wish I had one like that. You know, the Pulse album I bought (with the blinking light and everything), kept on "pulsing" for like 4-5 years!

hehe sucks man...I bought this in 95 when it first came out. I believe the blinking light thing was a special edition. I remember paying 21 bucks for it, but I saw it at other stores for as much as 34. Anyways, the way they replay DSOTM in CD2 is fenomenal.

"On The Run" is waaaay ahead of it's time imo, with the big fat arpeg and the amaount of tape sampling. That is another skill on it's own.

That thing that lets it all down a bit is some of Roger Water's later stuff, the solo stuff. I think he just cashed in on the whole concept album theme. The Wall is obviously very dark and powerful, with some of the most well known songs which are actually not know by some (if that makes sense )

The film scares the shit out of me too
Still a great film.

Love the earlier psychadelic stuff (cant spell ) from the Barret days.

Floyd were one of the first bands to actually create symphonic rock. Like "Echoes" with its classical structure and its 16.30 long!

The have to be my biggest influence musically, along with Queen and Led Zep, and they have been the influence of many trance producers and djs (noticably The Orb. Pretty much everything they did had some reference )

I thought "The Wall" was the album, and "Just Another Brick in the Wall" was the track?

Thank you

Yep

"Another Brick In The Wall - Part 2" is the one everyone knows and went to Christmas No1 in i think 1979 (? Anyone?)

The Wall was the album, later made into a film

AMAZING Gilmour solos!!!!!

Hate the Scissor Sisters for ripping it off by the way. They seemed to take a deep and political song which is a work of genius, and put a jolly house beat to it with a lovely bouncy singing wanker on the top
