I loved ID&T's label.... great thick vinyls, always loved dropping my ID&T Promo of the Marco V remix of Cafe` Del Mar

ID&T broke? No. ID&T lost the way? Yes.
Cancelled Ferry Corsten's World Tour, Marco V. In Charge and Johan Gielen's Lift Off on the radio, organizing Urban Events under the guise 4N, playing urban on the radio, having ASOT as only tranceshow...

But broke? Nah!

They have an entire Q-dance night (Thursday, followed by Thunderdome)... And Q Dance is from ID&T....

And no, TE will not come to the US.... It's because of your government and their fear of drugs.

ID&T Records = gonna be 'Be Yourself Music', First release is gonna be Ernesto vs. Bastian's 'Darkside of the moon'.

they aren't broke, they are just changing their programming to attract a different type of listener who listens to music that is becoming (or they're trying to make become) more popular over there.

Sunshine Live (SSL) in Germany did the same thing, dropped Piet Blank (Blank & Jones)'s weekly show and several other "dance" shows in favor of more urban/top40 programming. it's happening all over europe I'm sorry to say...

fortunately there's some of us internet radio stations keeping the faith

Maybe trance is getting a bit less mainstream, which would be a good thing

no ID-t isn't broke. But id-t had a rough year. A few high points and some low points.

Competition is growing in the Netherlands and big parties aren't selling tickets as good anymore so the 3 big promoters (id-t, udc, q-dance) will have to do anything to attract enough visitors in 2005

Not Q-Dance, their parties sell out one or two weeks in advance. But that's not a surprise: they try not to experiment to much with line-up and concepts, the sound and laser/lights are state of the art and the harder styles will always be popular.

ID&T and UDC are aiming at a house, trance and techno audience. This market is crowded with clubs, smaller parties and other competition. The ticket prices are also higher in this scene.

i very highly doubt ID&T will go bankrupt, theyre name is way too big in european dance music, especially ther harder styles. ID&T has been one of the biggest respected icons ive seen in my last 9 or so years listenin to harder music.

maybe im wrong, but ill be saddened if they do go bust

I strongly agree with you.. ID&T is the name always been big in Hardest EDM Music all over Netherlands and Germany. They Started making an impact with Thunderdome & Mysteryland which really popularise the hardcore scene. Slowly it extends to other genres like Hardtrance and Hardstyle. Soon our dearest Innercity, Trance Energy, Sensation and Q-Dance was born.
I Hardly doubt that ID&T will go any near to bunkruptcy. Most likely it will just stay low for some moment. Irfan Van Ewijk, Duncan Stutterheim & Menthal Theo are the ones Behind ID&T but too bad they all left ID&T in 1992(Mental-T) 1994(Duncan & Irfan)
