I'm sorry the tracklist isnt to your liking. maybe next time when he does a mix he should send the tracklist to you for approval? 
Dude, he goes out of his way to do a monthly mix for listeners who mostly will do nothing more than just burn his cd and jam to it a few times, so whats so bad about playing tunes he knows people enjoy?
They call it playing it safe, in case you didnt know.
Also, you probably dont listen to certain tracks until god-whores like Armin, Tiesto, or Markus play them to death. Why dont you try looking for something new and recommending it?
It's not the job for a dj to play tracks that are so new everyone gets to hear them and whore them out for the next month til they think its shit. its the job of the dj to mix in the old and new with some fresh flavor and keep the audience interested.
 So listen to the mix, and if not, then dont bother with a useless reply like that. if you dont like it and have something against good prog then thats ur problem, not the dj's, or the listeners
