I've been in several situations while there was a mutual 'like/flirt/ifweweren'tworkingtogetherwe'dbeboning' between myself and another co-worker but, never let it go any further because we worked directly with one another. I make it a rule not to "dip my pen in company ink". Its ok at first, then when you split, you have to deal with the awkwardness everyday. If you dont care....go for it. It just makes it hard to avoid her if you dont want to talk to her anymore.

Gruop route would't look clear enough for her on what you're going to do, it would go too much friend zone, so one on one would be a better idea.

i tried dating someone at work once. it was horribly uncomfortable. i would never ever do it again.

though i think this depends on your workplace. if you work in a more professional environment, then i definitely dont think you should consider it.
