Speaking of diplays...how do macs connect displays? Is it the same port as the one used in PCs, cause I recall it was different...

(Can't connect regular Screens to Macs???)

PC Compatibility

The DVI connectors on PowerBooks and other graphics cards sold by Apple support a “single link” DVI signal, suitable for driving the 23-inch Apple Cinema HD Display or 20-inch Apple Cinema Display. And this DVI connection removes all barriers to using an Apple display with a PC. So long as your graphics card supports DVI with DDC technology for widescreen viewing, you should be able to use these Apple displays with a PC.

This wasn't the case with earlier displays... Though the adapter was cheap to get around that.

The new MiniMac comes with a DVI to VGA adapter if your monitor doesn't have a DVI connector.

Also, for PartEgurl, if you've had that iPod for less than a year, Apple's limited warranty will replace it if they deem the capacity to be less than 50% of its original.

Apple wanted $300 to fix the headphone jack on my 1st-gen 5GB iPod that I broke when I was a bit upset and tore my iTrip out of it... No thanks, so I spent another $50 and got a 15GB 3rd-gen.

I have had it for over a year . Honestly though, I use my ipod so much, so I would be willing to replace the battery for 150$. The only problem is waiting for them to fix it at apple, who knows how long it would take them !!

Don't be fooled by the seemingly low price of the Mac mini. The mini I would like—with the larger hard drive and customized with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, as well as 512 MB RAM—costs $803 from Apple's online store. If you have to purchase a keyboard, mouse and screen for your new mini, the cost can rapidly add up.

I sent my Ipod back for repairs about 2-3 months ago. (Would keep locking up and had to do a hard reboot). The problem was random though, and they claim nothing was wrong with it and sent it back. In any case, service time was very quick. It's done up in Newmarket or something and total time door-to-door was under a week.

If you order a laptop or an ipod from them online, the delivery time is something like 2-5 days which is pretty impressive ...hmmmm i see they have massive revenue increases these days I wonder if I could get a job with Apple

Oh thanks for letting me know how long it takes. I just sent mine today, hopefully they dont send the same one back. In the agreement it says with battery issues you will not receive the same ipod. They send a used or refurbished one, weird. We'll see how it goes !
