How do you find time to post when you are always looking for black helicopters and microphones?
Anyway...i will respond to you...just for kicks...
I supported the war THEN and i support the war NOW...if you dig up my old posts about the war you will see that i ALSO backed the war because Hussein was a danger to his own people....i thought this in 1991 and i think it today. I will not say America is perfect, we have are share of wrong doings.
Hussein needed to be removed from power, along with his followers. He was an evil man who DID use WMD on the Kurns and Iran and lets not get into what he did to his OWN people.
WMD or not the man needed to go...i said it over 10 years ago...and i say it today...
And since i am SURE u wanted John Kerry in office over Bush...lets jsut take a fast look at what he had to say about Hussein...for the record of course.
"If You Don’t Believe Saddam Hussein Is A Threat With Nuclear Weapons, Then You Shouldn’t Vote For Me." (Ronald Brownstein, "On Iraq, Kerry Appears Either Torn Or Shrewd," Los Angeles Times, 1/31/03)
"[W]e need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime. We all know the litany of his offenses. He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation. He miscalculated an eight-year war with Iran. He miscalculated the invasion of Kuwait. He miscalculated America’s response to that act of naked aggression. He miscalculated the result of setting oil rigs on fire. He miscalculated the impact of sending scuds into Israel and trying to assassinate an American President. He miscalculated his own military strength. He miscalculated the Arab world’s response to his misconduct. And now he is miscalculating America’s response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction. That is why the world, through the United Nations Security Council, has spoken with one voice, demanding that Iraq disclose its weapons programs and disarm." (Sen. John Kerry, Remarks At Georgetown University, Washington, DC, 1/23/03)
"It would be naive to the point of grave danger not to believe that, left to his own devices, Saddam Hussein will provoke, misjudge, or stumble into a future, more dangerous confrontation with the civilized world." (Sen. John Kerry, Congressional Record, 10/9/02, p. S10171)
Do you need more? It sucks we didnt find any WMD...makes Bush look bad...but at least the Middle East is on its way to more peaceful countries...maybe not right now...but soon...
And before you go on about all the lifes lost...well thats what happens in war when u are trying to establish a free society...and to quote the US Navy Seals motto "The Needs of The Many - Far Outweigh The Needs of The Few". |
OHHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOW its about Saddam !!! Well guess what.. The Mullahs are gaining power in iraq now. The nation bush infamously added to the "axis of evil". Not only have you caused more shit in that reagion... but now you face even greater danger in that region. The whole population is at risk. Nothing positive has been accomplished. Removing saddam has and will cause hundreds of thousands of deaths.
Its funny how a year ago when the American news networks thought they found some weapons storage you were jumping up and downin your posts and calling everyone names. Look whose laughing now bitch!
More troops will die becuase of MORONS like you!
