Dosnt the royal family originate from germany anyway..they changed from the name Wettin to Windsor during the first world war as anti german feelings rose among the public (dont know how they pulled of that particular stunt but its true)
Queen Victoria married Prince Albert he was the son of a german royal the Duke of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha and Wettin...George V changed the name from the house Saxe-Coburg-Gotha and Wettin to the house of Windsor in 1917.............skip forward to the current Queen and her husband the Duke of Edinburgh is from the house of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glucksburg also german royals (all names the length of a train) so arguably all his offspring have german roots inc Prince Harry...so maybe he was just checking out his roots
Anyway who cares it was a private party afterall..
