I'm one of Armin's biggest fans. I've listened to his show rugularly since asot 75 or around then. I've got every single asot (nearly) However, i'll be the first person to agree with most of the people above when they said ASOT should have finished ages ago. Or atleast had some change to it.

It IS a pity the show has stopped. As ScanMe was right. It was a nice way to be able to ID a track. I think without radio shows like that, it's gonna be a lot harder to find quality tunes unless you HUNT them down. Yeh fine that might suit some people. But i liked listening to the regular asots. I think a monthly show wouldn't allow less popular tracks to get air time. Tracks which might go down well as a filler. Or something along those lines.

Anyway i hope Armin's got something sorted for himself. And Fingers crossed he'll come back bigger and stronger. And i also hope he plays a stormer when he visits dublin on the 11th of feb!

thats exactly the problem with ASOT, half the fun is finding tracks that no-one else has heard rather than how ever many thousand djs having near identical sets to armin.

get out there and find music, look in the forum on tranceaddict, scroll through online stores.

ASOT was okay, used to listen only once a month anyway, had some quite good guest mixes.

I'm sure it will continue in some guise though

Did you maybe stop to think, I can't speak for others, but I've listened my fair share of DJs and genres, and what Armin plays week from week, is what I like, so I don't need to put any effort into anything but into tuning into ASOT.
