I wouldn't wish a DJX mixer on my worst enemy. I had one for 9 months before it went ape sh*t on me. I now have a djm600. I'd recommend buying a djm500. I've seen them online for 499$ US if you look in the right places. I bought my Djm600 brand new for 699$. I'd agree with everyone above, stay away from Geminis. The older numarks aren't much better either. I know a guy that had a vestax and swears by it. Although I've only seen him mixing on Djm600s..

....ooo....lol, just as well you said i was thinking of an behnringer copy of the djm-600 for my room as my gemini ps626 is about dead.lol.

its just for room use, i dont use my equipment at venues i use equipment provided (bar headphones and mic).....but for £170 u not think its worth it rather than paying £500-£600?

in a word, no.

in more than a word, never ever ever. all that stuff on the mixer other than the standard 4 channels, eq's and crossfader is useless bollocks that doesn't work. the effects unit overheats, and when it does work you cant change the time parameter, which makes it useless.

if you want 4 channels, look at the vestax vmc004, its about £190 i think..

a numark dxm09 is about £225 in the UK
