whats wrong with style??? so many ppl here seem to have a problem with that. style doesn't mean you have to dress up like you're going to a wedding, or be in uncomfortable clothes/shoes...it just means that you look a bit better then when you get out of bed first thing in the morning and look at least somewhat presentable. personally i feel better dancing with ppl that have some style, and have themselves looking there best. no i'm not one of those pretenious asswholes that do it all to put on a show, i don't even think i really 'dress up'...lots of times just jeans and a t-shirt. but stuff that looks good (at least i think so )

Re: Style Code

IMO - Toronto is one of the most liberal cities in respect to dress code/style code. Travel to many cities with a similar calibre of talent and you're not getting in unless you're dressed business casual.

I don't have anything to do with Republic or it's management - but I suspect that their rules will be in-line with the other options within the city.

I like to wear comfy clothes & especially comfy shoes i.e: my Kswiss when I go out to dance...No point wearing nice clothes if its gonna get ruined by some geno spilling his drink on you

well why the hell would they be showing off the small room and not the big room? thats kinda odd to me. its all about promoting the big dance space.

Wow this place looks amazing. I love how they designed the place... everything looks very untypical.

Yeah, it does look really small... guess that's the only negative about the place.
