the EM version had SOUL!
most trance/prog/edm songs cannot say that. theres something to be said for something that may be a bit rough and awkward. i know i listened to that bit in the EM over and over again. i respect Josh's decision, but its like George Lucas fucking up a movie on a smaller scale. (no josh, you arent george lucas)
what i mean is that the edge makes it all the more endearing. the track was originally concieved[sic] from the ultrasound monitor of his daughter. in turn, that seems to make it an act of love, something impulsive and full of heart -- not -- something that needs excessive retooling so its *perfect* IMHO|
