lol.. you keep saying flow this, flow that so i checked out one of your mixes to see the great 'flow' you seem to create, but there were none. i just listened to 'lucid dream' and the tracks dont even coincide eachother well, the first transition is horrible, the horrid male vocals appear right after the first track and kills the vibe and the mood.. and wtf is Arrola - Dreaming[percussion mix] doing in there, that does not go with the mix at all. and this is not even a live set, if it was a live set at least its spontaneous but this im sure you planned to use tracks in its order of appearance... your arrangement, placement, and mixing was not on point. overall, not such a good mix man.. make sure your shit is good enuff before giving advices to other ppl. cuz your shit had 0 'flow' whatsoever. |
To respond to your biased statement: my mood wasn't ruined by the first transition, and neither was anyone else’s who listened to the mix that I spoke with. I put Dreaming in there, because I felt like it. I needed a harder element to transition from melodic trance to the somewhat harder and more energetic pieces that I brought in later. So i used Dreaming, I finally got my hands on the vinyl and wanted to use it, and I did. I feel that my mixing could've used more work, but it was rushed and i'd rather satisfice then spend hours attempting to please an arrogant Korean who decides to henpeck me because I constructively critiqued his friend.
