Off tune tones?
I think those were done on purpose and they do fit the track quite good, adds personality to the track.

Too many layers?
Me thinks about 5 - 6 layers, possibly 7, which fill the space through echo and reverb.

The percussion is a bit too weak, give it more volume.

And please post the full track, i like this kind of anthemic trance.
It roc... trances!

I give your track 80 out of 100 points.

I can only find one significant problem with this.. it's a sample. Hehe.

Otherwise great stuff Ron! Keep churning out those quality tracks like you always do.

it's an okay track...this would only make a great track for whoever DJ that can play it right, but on its own... I wouldn't get it just to listen to it on my own.

The intro does have out of tune notes... they don't go with the harmony that's there, but then again... dance music does that a lot of times...techno especially.

tnx for comments, all suggestins well taken in, and to gerrycueto i dont think its the kind of off note that really makes it sound bad, its like in the background, makes it kinda different for a millasecond u know, and as for the emotion u were talking about earlier and imagining your in the club, to me personally i can imagine dancing to it and loving it in the club, its just my style (ofcourse hehe) i dont wanna seem like im braging or anything, but thats just how i felt bout it personally... its ok if you don like, i dont hate u freedom of speech

No problem...

This track is definately not a flop, and I'm sure labels want this stuff. (I'd sign it, if I were a label) You can't have an entire night of anthems. That would be extremely boring. This would be that excellent track in the set that would level things out and make the set interesting. The whole track test on yourself... is just if you wanna see the feel on someone in a club... I dono works for me at least.

If it's a flop, I'll let you (or whoever I'm reviewing know). By okay, I mean it's not the track that's going to be the highlight of the night, but then again it's hard to hear through all that compression.

Can you just upload lower quality mp3 bitrates instead of having to mess up the mix? I can hear a 64-96kbps loquality mp3 better than a CD quality mesh of overcompression.

nice ideas, but its so.... standard. bass is nice. i dont like the percs or synths, the synths are like... way too hissy and the mixing/eqing doesnt sound too great. i like the blippy synth. i think you should try experimenting a bit more, all of your stuff is starting to sound almost identical. same synth sounds, same kick, same bass, just different melody. i think you can do better =)

i have to agree with mike foyle... it's very nice and everything, melodies are nice but nothing mindblowing ( this is very subjective ). Talking about mixing and equing it's a bit hard to say anything cause it's lo fi and i'm with my headphone right now at home and not in the studio. I really like the bass sound. As for the perc and drume maybe you can add some groove by picking and adding some cook loop.

maybe it's the mp3 but i mostly hear the kick, the OHH, and the clap.

anyway you know i'm a big fan of your stuff, for me it's not my favorite track from you ... i'm still in love with that one called never look back

cheers

Hi Ron .
Its nice and all mate, but i must say im not so keen on your Solarium tracks, its like all those tracks MIKE have been producing for ages now. I know you can do alot better than this. you are one of the most creative producers on this deck .
Try new sounds, other kind of instruments, even if they sound gay at the begining .
Cheers,

Cee u soon on MSN,

Antonio.
