Charlie May:
One of the pioneers of the UK Progressive House/Trance scene in the early 90's as Spooky and to me. It's also forgotten by many that he has played a big part in the production of many of Sasha's productions including "Xpander" which bares an uncanny resembelance to Spooky - Little Bullet (Live Version) which for me is the real classic, and not Xpander.
Caspar Pound:
Another pioneer in the early 90's scene who tragically died in April 2004 of brain cancer. He produced in many, many different styles and his work on Metal Master - Spectrum and Union Jack - Two Full Moons & A Trout are timeless classics.
Andy Cato:
Nobody can make piano sound better in electronic music as his work as Big C, Qattara and Mothers Pride demonstrates. Has also produced under several different aliases including Weekend Players and Groove Armada with completely different styles.

Liam Howlett (the man behind "The Prodigy")
Some sort of electronic Beatle, he managed to be original and popular at the same time. He was essential to the development of Hardcore and its spawned genres (d'n'b and hhc), he was the first artist to hit the top of billboard without being formulaic and he's now looking for other paths to extend his sound to.
They sure deserve a nomination. First because of their creativity: from acid bossa to hip hop, they've done loads of stuff. Besides, they're so wacky it's funny. The way music should be
