think about it -- the last time there was no stanley cup awarded was the 1918-1919 season due to the spanish flu epidemic and everything was fine for 85 years until the 2004-2005 season on a similar note in 1918 the boston red sox won the world series and then traded babe ruth and the curse of the bambino began and continued for 85 YEARS until the 2004 season when the boston red sox became the world series champions once again.
whenever the red sox win the world series there is no hockey!
one more reason to hate the damn red sox!
