SurrJRS...I also feel the "dangers" of MDMA are exaggerated...Graham points out the REAL danger...you don't know what you're getting in a pill (without a batch being tested first).

MDMA though...there are people who have been doing it every weekend, several times per weekend, for years...MDMA has been around for a while. While studies of long-term effects aren't plentiful, if it was *that* toxic and dangerous, there would a LOT of people who were *obviously* very fucked up from doing a *lot* more than 99% of any of us have done, I'm sure.

just my opinion...not based in fact at all. I stand by my "everything in moderation" statement. I'd never do e on a weekly basis for any length of time.

ya my friends warned me bout that b4 i did them but i didnt know what the fuss was about ... then seeing the green flowery shower curtain throw the mirror i notices the flowers growing on my shoulders .. some serious trippy sequences

hahaha...I've only done them maybe 3 times...I don't like visuals so much

they hit when I was in the washroom...suddenly, but not violently, the room sligthly "tilted"...yeah, tilted...like I was seeing everything on a slight diagonal, lol...and the light was casting a green tint on everything. I thought that was pretty messed up...then I went back downstairs and couldn't stop laughing my ass off as parts of my friend's face kept changing into parts of an animal face...wtf?

good times.

i get claustrophobic in there.... its fine if the washrooms is bright coloured but anything green just pushes the room closer... mushrooms should be done while camping... taking pictures to see to see if what you are seeing is real is priceless

I've seen a guy completely wig out after having eaten 2 specially baked brownies , so i'll definately believe that a bad experience could send someone to the hospital. A bit lame if you ask me, but hell, everyone reacts differently to drugs. The guy in question started to claw at the walls, screaming that he was possessed while the rest of us were trying to figure out how the hell someone can get so messed up from consuming pot. After seeing that, i'm willing to accept that even the smallest dose of a mind altering subtance can have a profound effect on the unprepared user.

Guess it just proves the point that drugs aren't for everyone. You definately have to prepare yourself mentally, otherwise it's quite easy to have an overwelming experience (in the worst possible way).

As far as the thread question. I haven't done a pill since NYE, but it's been even longer since i've felt the true euphoria of doing real E. Most of the crap available currently is complete shite anyway, so you're really doing yourself a favor if you don't dose regularly. Now 5 - 6 years back, there was a good chance you could score some pure caps and really have a magical night -- which for most people would probably result in the urge to drop again. Nowadays, you're lucky if you score a good pill that isn't laced with some shit that'll make you ultra sketchy for the next few days. That, and the passing of time ultimately means there are fewer occasions when i feel that 'urge' which at one stage was one of the focal points of my social life.
