same thing for both genres too, people who dis on it most likely haven't heard the best the genre has to offer
so the people who dis on trance are thinking dj sammy and ian van dalh when they say that, and the people who dis on emo are thinking of simple plan and shit
i listen to some emo, but i usually refer to the people who wear those stupid glasses and act depressed as emo posers
cause i know a guy who was in a emo band more or less, and he was the complete opposite (personality-wise) from all those ******s
he was one of the funniest, outgoing, and self-confident people i know
heh so he did wear sweaters and glasses sometimes, but still
he was emo....just not an emo bitch
