thats really strange, i'd class indicator as hard trance. But then again I havent been into names of tracks and genres that long compared to some on here, so dont really know what 'old tech trance' is

more tech than trance, melodies weren't as evident and in some cases not there at all. If you ever get chance check out marco v sets from 2000 or 2001 and the Oliver Lieb cd I mentioned, Oliver Klitzing/Kaylab/Reeloop etc is another good example of tech trance, i consider most of it plain hardtrance when it doesn't have the characteristics of a techy tune

The tech-trance is an integral movement in society that brings different types of cheeses together into a big block of dairy goodness.

I dont like cheese btw, I only like it if it is melted Like on top of pizza!

Indeed. Check out his L.S.G. albums, especially "The Black Album", if you want some high quality stuff.

Pretty much. Whenever someone asks me what's tech-trance, I steer them towards this album; the definitive album for this style.

Also, the Hardesertrance albums mixed by DJ Brian and released through Moonshine are fine examples of the techier side of trance.
