What's up All you TranceAddicts
It was truly amazing to meet and see all of you there!! Fast, Zing, Mastercongo was nice to meet you Was good to see you DjHappy again, and Deli, I'm very glad to see you made the wise decission of going and not missing Armin!
I would have liked to have partied with you all a lot more, but I was spending a lot of the night trying to trance myself out very deeply to regain some energy into my legs, I wasn't the most sucessful :P I just wish that my legs weren't so tired so that I would have been able to dance a lot more, and dance more comfortably. They went very stiff, very early, and I just wasn't able to stretch them out, or get deeply into it and keep the flow (sometimes once I catch it, I'll keep it for the whole night). It's truly agonizing for me to listen to beats and not be able to dance the way I want. But hey, I know they'll be more times to come, and more jammin to the beats to do!

All right, now without a doubt, this is my opinion. Aria is the best club in Montreal!!! That was one of the main things I kept on thinking when I was in the club and looking around(I think I even metioned it to a few of you), I couldn't think of a way that Sona would be able to compare, besides the familiarities of an amazing Montreal crowd.

I had an excellent night Friday, Armin Van Buuren played a truly magnificent set! A lot of his set I was just sitting back and listening, I thought that it was great trance, and a very unique way of mixing. His set was definitely different from others that I heard, and I don't think similar to even one of the Tiesto's that I've experienced. To behonnest, I don't even want to bother trying to compare the two of them, without a doubt they're both great, and that's good enough for me, it doesn't matter which one may be a bit better of a dj or person.
I couldn't name every track that he played, but I was glad to hear a lot of the ones we predicted The atmosphere was differently great for Armin, the crowd, room available, and the lighting was just a great added bonus!!!! I spent the night all over place, I kept on moving around, looking for my best spot to trance out at, one of the places that I would have to say I most enjoyed was standing right behind Armin while he was spinning, it was just so uplifting!
My friend must have at least 125+ pictures from the night that he took on his digital camera, I'll a lot of them up as soon as he transfers them over to me.
Biggy I tried to find you(Deli told me he saw you), so that I could say what's up, but that was not a successful mission. I asked a couple people who I had thought might have been you, but they just laughed and said "nope, sorry" Oh well, maybe next time
All in all, it was an extremely fun night filled with some great trance, I'm glad to hear that everyone enjoyed themselves so much, and I hope that there's going to be plenty more outstanding djs we crave to see/hear, bring us together at Aria or any other spot for more amazing Trance nights! Next time I'll try not to be so tired, so that I'll have more energy to dance more with the crowd!!!
Well I slept 10 hours when I got home, but I'm still exhausted and need to try and pass out!! Back to recuperating for me, hope everyone elses goes easy

Oh Yeah, what was Armin's gf wearing?

Biggy , we and him were very close thats why , hehehe
i just woke up reading all the reviews.
First of all i wanna say it was nice to meet u all nice TAs, hats off to everyone of u cuz u deserve it!
Second of all, all i can say that AvB is one of us , not that i would compare tiesto to him but i would say he's a combination of Tiesto, oakie and marco V.He can go smooth with some trancy tunes , then lift u up with some groove tunes and jam it with some hard ones! I used to sticking around the dj , looking at him spin and guessing the tracks and this is what Djs like , they like it when u know the track fading in and u smile on it as its some of ur fav. tracks then he smiles back cuz he's happy that u like it. I think i did bother him with my glowstix!!hahaha i knew i shouldnt have done that but i was so high!
besides i started waving my hand like him when a bass comes out , he looked at me and laughed. Then i waved em like tiesto when a tune comes in , he smiled i think he knows what i'm doing
I did shake his hand more than once , although one is enough , but staying just in front of him made me wanna stay close to him. He actually asked to shake my hand before he left which was extremely amazing , i couldn't believe it till now!
Im hoping to see some pics of this unforgetable night.
Now as for Aria i must say its not the first time i go there, i like the fact that its so big , that even if its filled up u still have room! No glass between u and the Dj which made it alot better!
For the sound, didn't impress me , but it did bother me alot, now as Delstar said , i think its the fact that the right decks were made for trance but i did see Dereck carter play on em some hard House. But definatly the center mixer isnt made for Trance cuz it really hurt my ears, and u couldnt listen to the treble quiet clear cuz the bass was very deep. And what bothered me was that G'Obrien played on them some hard trance and he turned the knobs high , i think he's used to the other mixer cuz it was really annoying , there was this time where he turned the high bass so high that people plugged their ears, which is really not good. Now as for G'obrien i must say he looks as a starter in the trance field. He did play some trance but he mixed it with alot of Hard tech at first , then with hard trance and at the end it was a bit smoother. He even played Joyenergizer!!i dance like a maniac on it.I stayed till 10am which is impressive.
As for the crowd, i cant really comment, nice hot chix!! When Armin was spinning people were nice except for some 2guys who come around next to Armin and start screaming as if they wanna talk to him or something , they looked fucked up in the head anyway. And that stupid guy on E stood just in front of the booth and did nothing, closed his eyes and standed and i was dancing there!i didnt know what to do, kick hiss ass or just leave him trip!
When Armin finished his set, some people left, like about 40%, the rest of them turned out to be the ones who just come to party and know nothing about music, cuz i must say one of em tripping and whistling for 3hours straight i couldnt stand it at all. Then a guy comes close to G'obrien and leaves every 2minutes like a maniac he thinks he knows the shit. Then at the end some of the Hiphop floor came down and stood there watching which is really annoying cuz they pass by u when ur dancing and they hit u with their shoulders and each one of them is 6+ feet high.Like wtf!
As for the entrance, big line-up i say but im sure they let most of the people in.Now for the bouncers, JF as i said b4 some people complain about it, mastercongo couldnt get his Camera in,, if it was me i would have complained, and for me, the black bouncer in front told me im not allowed to get in with Shorts which gave me a very bad trip!Since when im not allowed to get in with shorts? And he said it in a very ironic way.It wasn't funny at all if it was a joke.It would have ruined my whole night.
Thanx for biggy to make that night an unforgetable one.
Fast,DjHappy , mastercongo , delstar and rizzler nice to meet u all, it was really amazing night.AvB made the best of it, best track selection ever even if some people say he has no driven skills!
Hes just at his starting point, and he will have his Highs very soon!

Thanx all of u.

hey zing by the way i had to leave at 8 thats when i told you i was out of there cause the bus back to morin heigths was at 9. and i was so fucking hungry .

and yes the sounds was messed up some songs really didnt sounded good cuase the speakers couldnt handle the melodies like his remix of iio -rapture.

and as sounds of goodbay maybe it's me but i prefer the tribal mix. i think armin did some amazing stuff with the tribal mixes. and Twilogoddess sorry for the ppl at dc cuase if he didnt play communication he didnt finish his set lol. cause communication like i said it before is his best track ever.

by the way guys what's the name of the song after suburban train? the one that was like hard trance he mixed with a litle pice of rank1-such is life and than came back to it
