also due to a thing called spacial elasticity the farther away every gets from eachother the faster it travels. In time, no stars will be visible from earth! and before they were so close we couldnt see past the light blur....were in a good time, woot! plus we are in a good spot in out spiral arms so we can see past the arms and are far enough away from center of galaxy to get away from dust and light...so lucky

can anybody tell me where space came from? this vacuum which we occupy. the endless vacuum of space. where did this come from? how was "space" created. and then, how was "matter" created? how was matter with "Mass" created? mind how the universe was created. How in the world was the vacuum of space created? are there really 4 Dimensions? or three? or 5 maybe? does time really exist?

with many of these questions, you enter from known natural laws into the rhelm of quantum science and philosophy. is everything relative, or is there one absolute?

Blackholes only suck in things inside of the event horizon. That is to say, if our sun collapsed into a blackhole right now it would have the same mass as before and its graviational field would still be at same point. If you took a neutron star (our sun, just the size of a good sized city like seattle) and put it in our skies, the entire planet would wrap around it and be compressed to 1/4 inch hehe.

I drop of a neutron star would go straight through the eart about 8000 times before settling in the dead center!

btw terms: white dwarf: compressed to the point where atoms cant get any closer. Novas happen when in a binary pair, they siphon hydrogen off a red dwarf until Hydrogen gets so compressed the entire surface of the star explodes! Its mainly iron at this point. If you look at table of elements a big star collides hydrogen so hard it turns to helium, it collides that so hard it turns to bla bal eventually reaching iron which cant explode or divice any more. Counting back from plutonium which is created and destroyed also middles in iron.

Neutron star: when the mass of the star is 5x or greater than our own. The gravity is so intense it breaks past the electron repulsion and the NEUTRONS are touching!!!

Pulsar: Neutron stars typically spin so fast and produce so much energy that a HUGE beam of gamma radiation is shot out like lasers from the poles. Sometimes we get something that is rotating towards us and we get a blink every 15 seconds or so from the entire planet spinning around and hitting us with that. First thought to be message from aliens!

The closest star to our own is approx. 200 light years away, so if there is intelligent life on a planet orbiting this star (personally, I believe there is much within our milky way) and they were observing earth with powerful telescopes, the light from earth would have taken 200 years to get there, so what they would be watching is shit like Whitney inventing the cotton gin, or maybe even the Civil War.

I was first introduced to this thought in my astronomy class last year, and it still has me thinking about it today. There isnt any known explanation or statement about it anywhere. Astronomers and scientists alike are still dumbfounded by this possibility.
