you can't compare dance to pop... totally different industry.

some rnb tracks cost up to 1 million to produce.... you have enginneers, producers, co producers, writers.... it's a totally different industry.

in rnb you can make millions, in trance you make jack shit.
80% of labels dont pay out, with their silly contracts, 1000 record sales hardly makes a label even cash flow and you need to get on a fair few big selling compilations before you make a cent.

So your really selling trance tracks, to pocketing money for yourself, because everyone knows how hard it is to make a buck in the industry and as a dj even harder.

I got no idea how much you charge but im sure its a decent amount and more than any of the tracks would make an artist who bought it off you.

everyone does what they want, i have nothing against what you do. just don't compare pop and rnb to trance. it's a different ball game.

discussion is good!!! oh and i have a remix of yours, DJS TAKE PILLS.... got the white label... i liked that remix!!

Lucas it is so different yet very similar at the same time, we dont just produce trance, we have produced tracks for all styles including Rock/Grunge, House, Breaks, Chillout etc..

also we have not made as much from over 50 releases as you would expect as we have been unlucky with certain record deals we were involved with and the only money we have really made has been from Publishing which covers all the music we write.

i can see the negative points against us writing music for others but really at the end of the day thats our job and we need to make money like eveyone else, its just like everyday life really, its all about opinions.
